Guide To Buying a Computer

In this world today, there are really high spec computers and there are low spec computers. There are many different reasons for choosing your computer. High spec computers are for more advanced people, who need them for everyday use because of their work or job. These computers tend to have faster processors in them and more memory than lower spec computers. They may also have a better graphics card in them, which helps display the pixels on the screen. This doesn’t mean that you can’t buy a high spec computer if you are only going to use it twice a week or a few days a week. It depends what you are going to use it for! If you going to use your computer for Facebook, email or just browsing the internet, then you should go for a lower spec computer. This is because if you are not going to use it often then it would be a waist of money to get a high spec computer. However, if you are going to use your computer a few times a week but for doing word documents, modeling, photoshop and the Internet, you may want to go for a high spec computer so that it doesn’t crash whilst using it so much. Many people go into stores such as; Pc World and Currys to buy a computer. If you look around for an assistant in the store and ask them for help, they will be able to guide you in the right direction and even give you some idea of what to go for to suit your needs. When you...

Guide To Buying a Laptop

When you are buying a second hand laptop there are a few things you need to look at such as: is there any cosmetic damage, does the internet work on it, is the screen damaged, does it charge, does it turn off if you unplug the charger, does it power down after so many minutes? The reason you need to check for these issues is because it could indicate that the laptop hasn’t been treated well. If they have a password set on the computer make sure (if you are buying it) they take it off or they give you the password so you can gain access to the laptop. The only problem with buying a second hand laptop from someone is it won’t come with any warranty, so if it fails you will have to pay for the repair. If you are looking to buy a brand new laptop from a retail shop such as Currys or Argos, it should come with some warranty already when you purchase your item. If you go down this route, ask the shop assistant which is the best laptop to suit your needs. Personally if you are just looking to buy a laptop for Internet use, storing files on and writing up word documents you won’t need a very powerful laptop for this. Myself I use my laptop on a day to day basis for all sorts of things such as email, playing music, storing files, writing up documents, playing games and Facebook. So I need a fairly powerful computer to handle these tasks. With new laptops they usually come with Windows...

Guide To Buying a Phone

Generally People tend to go to phone shops such as; Carphone Warehouse, or a network provider shop. If you go into a store, you may get a bunch of phones on desk to try out or a plastic model of the actual phone so people can get a taste of what they are like before actually buying. But If you are lucky enough, there may be a sales assistant free to give you advice on the perfect one to suit you. They may even give you advice on how to set it up and how to transfer stuff from your old phone to your new one. Most stores ask you if you want to take warranty out on them. We would advise you do depending on what kind of phone you are getting. If you do then it’s up to you, but it costs extra for it and remember to ask what it covers and what it doesn’t....

HTC Wildfire

The HTC Wildfire is a smartphone that was developed by HTC and was released in June 2010. It is powered by a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor and it runs on Google’s operating system (Android) version 2.2. This phone comes with a 5-megapixel camera and the screen is 3.2 inches wide (diagonally from corner to corner). The HTC wildfire has Wifi and GPS capabilities which means the phone can be tracked if it is lost or stolen. It only weighs 118 g which is equivalent to (4.16 oz). Overall this phone is very good but I would say the HTC is more suitable for people who text, call and take pictures. I say this because it’s not a very powerful phone and when using the internet the phone is slow at loading pages. However, this phone is very good for playing music and videos on so it is god for a first phone....

Blender :D

In 2010 I decided to get to know more about Blender, I did this because my cousin recommended it to me. He has done some very interesting things with blender, he has made a van transformer and when you play the animation it transforms from a van into a robot. It is very cool, he then decided to make a night rider transformer, which he hasn’t finished yet, but he’s still working on it. When I see him he shows me very interesting things that I didn’t know about Blender before, I.E. (how to make a 3d cube spin with a texture on it). If you look at my football page, you will see what i mean, I made that cube all by myself, I made it because I support Liverpool F.C. I enjoy experimenting with this program, it’s a very good program to use. I would recommend this program to people who enjoy making 3d...
